Is it legal?
Yes — for one-way, dugout-to-catcher. Little League (Rule 3.17), high school (NFHS), and most softball bodies allow it. Always confirm your league's current rules.
Why I built it Battery
I built Battery because I’m a catcher, and the gear the pros use costs more than a whole season of youth ball here in north Georgia. That never sat right. Every kid behind the plate — baseball or fastpitch — deserves the same edge, without the price tag.
